Hi guys, and apologies for not blogging for a while. I've been busy writing and editing and talking on the radio and stuff...it's no big deal :). Anyway, I'm excited to let you know that my interview with Don McCauley from The Authors Show, a US based internet podcast station, will be broadcast on the 24th May. It will be available to listen to on their website all day on the 24th May, Eastern Standard Time, and will then be archived for future listens for 12 months. You'll also be able to catch it after the 24th on all streaming platforms (Amazon, Google, Soundcloud, Spotify etc.). I haven't actually heard it myself yet so putting this out there is a bit of a risk for me, but I'm pretty sure I held it together....I hope. I talk about my last novel, 'The Hawk and the Raven', a little about 'Pale Face and the Raven', and then Don and I chat about what I like to read, my writing style, my inspiration etc. Pretty much anything to do with my writing and my background. I hope you enjoy it. Also, for those of you that follow me on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, you'll know that I've kicked off a Flash Fiction thriller series on the 'Free Reads' section of my website. It's called 'Bee Minus' and it's kind of an extinction level, survival thriller. I'm asking anyone who reads it to message me with ideas for Part 2, and even longer term ideas that might feature in future editions. I'm going to see how long we can carry it on for. Don't worry - I won't make it a 'Lost' style, goes-on-forever series (although that was a great show). We'll keep it to a logical length. I also have some exciting news regarding one of my short stories, 'An Ocean Black', which is being published in a 'soon to be released' anthology, but I'll save the details of that for my next blog. The Hawk continues to do pretty well in the sales stakes, and I'm also pleased to say that 'Pale Face' and 'The Maidens' are still getting picked up by enthusiastic readers. It's so gratifying to think that people are reading and enjoying the words that spill out of my mess of an imagination. Thank god for coffee and cake. My next novel is going well and I hope to have it completed, polished and edited soon. More to follow on that too. That's it for now but keep reading and please contact me if you have any questions or just want to stay in touch. It's always great to hear from you. All the best and enjoy the longer, sunnier days, Stacey.
